Award Application Deadlines
NAIT has different application periods for specific groups of students. The last day of an application period is the application deadline. You must submit your application by the application deadline in order to be considered for NAIT Scholarships and Bursaries.
Degree, diploma and certificate programs
New Students
If you’re a new incoming student to NAIT, entrance awards help finance your first year of post-secondary studies and recognize your achievements. To receive an entrance award application, you must apply for admission before the application deadline.

Current students and academic upgrading
For continuing and academic upgrading students, this award application will check your eligibility for bursaries this year and all other awards to help fund your next year of studies. Your application in the new MyAwards Central will consider you for all the award types below.
- Important: As seen below, different awards have different deadlines. We suggest applying before the end of January to see and apply for all available opportunities.

Don’t forget! If you’re selected for an award, be sure to accept your award offer in your MyAwards Central within 30 days to get your payment. Miss the deadline and the offer will be cancelled. Find out more on how to accept your award!

There are five application periods (intakes) for NAIT apprenticeship students. These intakes run continuously throughout the year.
