Award Application Deadlines
NAIT has different application periods for specific groups of students. The last day of an application period is the application deadline. You must submit your application by the application deadline in order to be considered for NAIT Scholarships and Bursaries.
Degree, diploma and certificate programs
New Students
NAIT offers entrance awards for incoming and new students to NAIT. Check the entrance award page for information on award timelines and deadlines for students starting their programs in September and January.
- October 1: Application opens for students starting their studies in Fall 2024
- March 1: Application opens for students starting their studies in Winter 2024

For continuing students and academic upgrading students, there are two application periods: one for the Fall term, and one for the Winter term. They are open to students who are continuing in a program at NAIT – this includes students who are undergoing program transfers.

Apprenticeship programs
There are five application periods (intakes) for NAIT apprenticeship students. These intakes run continuously throughout the year.
