Hazard Assessment Program
At the heart of NAIT’s Health and Safety Management System are comprehensive hazard assessments. These assessments provide a consistent process to identify and control workplace hazards, ensuring that risks are minimized. By proactively addressing potential dangers, employees are protected, and a culture of safety and well-being is cultivated. This commitment to these practices helps build a safer, healthier workplace for everyone.
In order to fulfill internal and external requirements all tasks throughout NAIT will be assessed. To assist in the assessment of the tasks, HSE has developed the Hazard Assessment Program, which consist of the following:

Hazard Assessment Templates
The following hazard assessment templates have been developed to support the NAIT community in the identification of hazards of specific tasks/activities. Employees are encouraged to update the hazard assessment content (activities, hazards, risk ranking and controls) as needed.
