Virtual New Student Orientation

Welcome to NAIT!

New Student Orientation welcomes you to NAIT and provides you with information, resources and tools to help you be successful as you transition to student life at NAIT.  The New Student Orientation is a virtual presentation that you can complete at your own pace and time.  It should take you approximately 2 – 3 hours to complete and you should have it completed before the start of your classes. 

This NAIT New Student Orientation presentation is available to you in Moodle, the online learning platform used at NAIT.  For a brief introduction to Moodle and how to use it, we suggest you watch this short video before beginning the New Student Orientation presentation:

Introduction to Moodle

A short tour is available the first time you log in to Moodle.  If you need to restart the tour or view it again at any time, you can do so at the bottom of the page.

To access the New Student Orientation presentation in Moodle, click here  (a valid Student ID is required):
* Once you are in the Orientation Moodle, click on “Enroll Now” when given the option.

Note to International Students: There is a module in the New Student Orientation presentation that shares Immigration and settlement information and is directed specifically to international students.
