Calling all full-time NAIT students from across every school and field of study!

The 7-School Challenge is your chance to develop a bold solution to tackle a real industry problem. Your solution could help you win up to $1,000 in cash prize money! 

Apply entrepreneurial thinking to a problem facing your industry, collaborate and transform your ideas into meaningful solutions. This challenge will help you flex your creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while gaining real-world experience.  

Bring your curiosity, creativity, and energy. Let’s see what you can create. 

How it works 

 The 7-School Challenge gives you the opportunity to showcase your work, receive valuable feedback, and explore more pathways, including commercialization and venture creation. Build on existing coursework, a capstone project, or an original idea inspired from your learning experience. 

Throughout the challenge, the Mawji Centre for New Venture and Student Entrepreneurship is available to provide ongoing mentorship and support – whether you need help defining the problem, validating your innovative solution, or exploring next steps to launching a business.  

The Mawji Centre will host a showcase, either for each school or as a combined event, during the academic year. Visit NAIT's Schools and Programs page to learn more about your school.
