Course Overview

Improve your working knowledge of small engines, and explore spark-engine operation. Identify engine components and delve into the principles of operation for both two- and four-stroke cycle engines. Discover the function and operation of engine lubrication, cooling, fuel, ignition, air inlet, exhaust, and starting systems.

With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to employ shop safety practices, basic hand tools, measuring tools, and systematic approaches to basic engine troubleshooting.

This course is ideal for working on lawn mowers, snowmobiles, and garden tractors.
