Foreign Exchange at NAIT
If you are a student from an institution that has an existing partnership with NAIT for student exchange, you may be eligible to come to NAIT to earn academic credits.
As an exchange student, you will:
- study at NAIT for one semester
- begin your studies in September, May or January (depending on program capacity)
- be eligible for academic credit towards your credential at your home institution

Details
Term dates at NAIT:
Fall - September to December (deadline to apply is June 1)
Winter - January to April (deadline to apply is September 1)
Summer - May to August (deadline to apply is February 1)
Please consult with your institution, complete the NAIT Inbound Exchange Student Application form and email it to educationabroad@nait.ca.
Eligibility
If you are an exchange student at NAIT studying for one semester (4 months), you do not need a study permit. You will need a study permit to work on campus.
If you are an exchange student studying for 2 semesters and participating in a co-op, you will need a study permit.
