Course Overview

Expand your marketable SQL Server skills beyond basic database knowledge by exploring SQL’s role in an enterprise solution. Uncover essential topics and techniques like upsizing a Microsoft Access Database to SQL Server, working with SQL Reporting services and Visual Studio to create and publish reports on the Web, and using Analysis Services and Visual Studio to build a data cube for multidimensional analysis. Work with Microsoft SQL Replication Services and explore high availability using SQL Server Always On Availability Groups within a Windows Failover Cluster.

With the skills you gain in this course, you will be able to work with SQL Server Filegroups, table compression, partitioning and database snapshots, and collect and analyze SQL Server performance data by using Windows Performance Monitor.

It is recommended that you complete CCTB200 Microsoft SQL Level II, equivalent courses, or have practical experience prior to enrolling.
