NAIT’s pilot scale testing facility has been specifically designed to provide the space required for large scale projects, fabrication and assembly. This facilitates pre-field testing of larger scale equipment.

  • Fume-hood-scale instrumentation oil-in-water and water-in-oil test loops designed to simulate key process conditions, for the evaluation of new sensor technology
  • Highly instrumented tailings test columns  for large-scale evaluation of tailings consolidation behaviour
  • Drive-in bays capable of accommodating ISO standard containers and tractor trailers, facilitating the logistics of transporting large volumes of material
