Hours and Location
All students in the BBA degree program are eligible for the BBA Co-op option and can complete their first work term after their second year of study.
The BBA Co-op option is highly flexible - students can complete work term based on their needs when opportunities arise.
Work terms need to be full-time and in 4, 8 or 12-month terms. The JRSSB Co-op office actively works with industry partners to find work placements, but students are ultimately responsible for securing a position. Students are encouraged to seek out or create work placements relevant to their course of studies.
While other post-secondary institutions put restrictions on GPA on their co-op programs, NAIT has intentionally chosen not to do this. NAIT’s industry partners prefer to do their own interviewing and make selections on factors beyond just good marks.
NAIT’s BBA Co-op costs the same as the BBA program, with the exception that you take three additional Co-op courses. Tuition for Co-op courses is set at a different rate than class-based courses. Updated costs for these can be found at NAIT Tuition and Fees.
