NAIT International Culinary Exchange

Study culinary arts abroad as part of NAIT’s Culinary Arts International Exchange. Learn and experience unique culinary cultures at one of our international training partners in Europe and Asia.  

Eligible students from our partner institutions can also visit NAIT to train with our talented culinary arts instructors and discover the vibrant Edmonton culinary scene.

Program Details

Exchanges occur over a 4-week period. Students from our international training partners visit NAIT in May or June of each year. NAIT students and staff then travel to one of our international partners in June or July.

Eligibility 

NAIT students are eligible for the International Culinary Exchange if they are currently enrolled in the NAIT Culinary Arts program. A study permit is not required to participate.

Culinary Arts

Students in NAIT's renowned Culinary Arts program are introduced to the fundamental skills of cooking, including contemporary hot and cold presentation, pastry art and international cuisine

Baking and Pastry Arts

Baking and Pastry Arts diploma program focuses on the art and science of bread, cake and pastry making, including cake design and decorating, confectionary training

The Meat Cutting and Merchandising is an intensive 15 week program followed by 90 hours of practicum that will give you the skills to prepare and market a wide variety of meat, poultry and fish
