Badminton Camp

Come join us for a week long fun-filled way to learn badminton. We offer camps for all skill levels. Come learn new skills and develop your game in a fun and competitive environment.

Basketball/Volleyball Combo Camp

This camp is designed for the sport enthusiast who wants to learn something about each sport. The morning session will involve basketball and the fundamentals for both offensive and defensive skills while developing towards team principles. The afternoon will be the volleyball session with the focus on individual skill development leading to team play.

Learn to Play Volleyball Camps

This "Learn to play"  camp is for developing players wanting to improve their fundamental volleyball skills. If you are a volleyball player wanting to make the jump to the next level then this camp is for you! 

Note: There are two separate camps occuring this week; one boys and one girls camp.

NAIT Ooks Elite Boys Volleyball Camp

Spend a week with the NAIT OOKS Men’s Volleyball Programs in a high performance environment and learn what it takes to play at a post-secondary level. This camp is designed for serious male  athletes ages 15 to 17  who aspire to play at a U-SPORT or CCAA level. 

Basketball Development Camps

Spend a week with the NAIT OOKS Men’s and Women's Basketball Programs in a fun, engaging and high performance environment. These camps are  focused on fundamental skill development in both individual and team settings and will provide camp goers the opportunity to compete in fun and challenging ways. 

Note: There are two separate camps occuring the week of August 15-19; one boys and one girls camp.

Hockey Camps

TOTAL HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT (NOVICE – U9, ATOM – U11, PEEWEE – U13)

POWER SKATING

The first ice session of the day is more skating-focused. Skating is an essential skill for hockey. It is the fundamental from which all other skills are built. These skating sessions will include edge work, stride, stops and starts, backward skating, turns, pivots and related skills. Instruction will be age/level appropriate.

ON-ICE SKILLS

These sessions will cover the additional fundamentals of hockey: puck control, passing and shooting. Players will be given an opportunity to learn and apply these skills into game tactics and play. It is important that participants enjoy their learning experience, so having fun will be a priority. Each week will finish with on-ice games on Friday.

OFF-ICE ACTIVITIES

Off-ice will have a focus on fundamental movement, athleticism and teamwork, through a variety of activities.
