Course Overview

Investigate the structure, function, and maintenance of wastewater collection systems in residential, industrial, and commercial contexts. This course introduces the responsibilities of wastewater collection operators and the design of wastewater infrastructure. Emphasis is placed on inspection, safety, and preventative maintenance, including procedures for cleaning, testing, and repairing sewer lines and manholes.

With the knowledge gained in this course, you will be able to assess system performance and apply foundational practices for safe, effective wastewater collection operations.
