Course Overview

Expand your professional toolkit by exploring computer-integrated manufacturing (CIM). CIM is essential to monitor and direct the actions of automated manufacturing systems and to allow completely automated production for automotive, aviation, space, and ship building industries.
The CIM process relies on Robotic Workstations as its basic component.

With the knowledge gained in this course, you will become familiar with the importance of integrating computers, conveyors, automatic storage, and retrieval systems (ASRS) into a flexible manufacturing system and you will build a robotic workstation with a PLC, Robot and CNC machine.
