Course Overview

Explore the world of Logo design and branding. Discover the importance of a logo and its role in the visual development of a brand. Know which logo type to use in specific contexts. Participants in this course will complete their own assigned logo design. This project will be based on a fictional company profile and include several design concepts, a final design, mockup, and a final presentation to the class. With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to create a variety of logos while considering design, and colour theory. Required: Please ensure that you have completed CCTD110, CCTD115, CCTD120, and CCTD170 prior to enrolling in this course.

  • Face to Face: Where: In-person meetings. When: Course is scheduled at a specific time for students to attend. Face-to-face instruction at all class meetings. Location may be on campus or at a worksite.
