Course Overview

This is the sixth and final course in the Data Engineering program. With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to contribute to data engineering project planning using scrum methodology and apply good practices for communicating results and using continuous project improvement techniques. This course creates a space for you to highlight the knowledge and skills you obtained during the program and how you can apply them in the workplace. You will follow an Agile scrum methodology to develop a minimum viable data engineering product (MVP), ensuring your ability to complete a data engineering product with enough features to meet production requirements.

You must complete CCTB671 to CCTB75 prior to enrolling in this capstone project course.

  • Remote On-Demand Delivery: Where: Online anytime. When: No set class meetings. Coursework is accessed on-demand and online. While there are no set class meetings, there may be set due dates and deadlines for some activities. Students may interact with peers through virtual tools.
  • Remote Independent: Where: Online anytime. When: No set class meetings. Coursework is accessed on-demand and online, with no instructor support. While students choose when to do coursework, there may be set due dates and deadlines. 
  • Work Placement: Where: In-person meetings. When: Work is scheduled at a specific time for students to attend. Onsite work integrated learning. Location at a worksite.
