Admissions

Competitive Entrance

NAIT’s most popular programs follow a system of competitive entrance admission.
If your program lists “Competitive Entrance” under the requirements, it follows the “Competitive Entrance” process for admission.

Applicants who are deemed competitive are admitted on a first-come, first serve basis until the program is full.
Once full, programs place qualified candidates on a waitlist. An applicant’s waitlist position is determined by an overall average of the specific courses required by the program.

If you are offered conditional acceptance, you will need to maintain the academic average presented in phase 1 (the academic qualification assessment) to secure final acceptance.
