NAIT’s annual convocation celebration returns with in-person ceremonies May 5 to 7 as the polytechnic proudly acknowledges the achievements of 6,587 graduates. Convocation ceremonies celebrating the classes of 2020 and 2021 were held online last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Class of 2022 has learned how to adapt and pivot in the face of constant change. While not the experience most imagined, their educational journey will serve them well in their future careers. They are leaving the polytechnic with the skills and competencies they need to succeed and make a positive impact in communities across Alberta, Canada and the world.
Five ceremonies will be held at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium to celebrate graduates from NAIT’s four schools – School of Health and Life Sciences, JR Shaw School of Business, School of Skilled Trades, and School of Applied Sciences and Technology.
Graduates and guests will hear from special guests including the 2022 honorary degree recipients.
Each ceremony will be livestreamed at nait.ca/convocation2022 so family and friends living anywhere in the world can join the celebration.
