Vice-President Academic and Provost

Sue Fitzsimmons, PhD

“One of the things I love about education is that the foundations of good teaching have stood the test of time. New technologies and philosophies will always shape how we approach teaching and learning, but the basics of a great education remain as true today as they did in the time of Plato and Socrates.  Engaging students, making learning meaningful and relevant, and empowering learners to become masters of their craft will never go out of fashion. I’m proud to say NAIT has always done these things.  I’m a huge champion of the polytechnic education NAIT offers – both for individual students and for organizations.”
