Update on our recruitment efforts

NAIT’s reputation as a leading polytechnic and a top employer resulted in a fantastic list of highly qualified candidates. Last month, the presidential search committee reviewed the short list, provided by our executive search firm, Boyden, and invited 5 highly qualified candidates for an interview.
While the committee is leading the recruitment process, the final hiring decision will be made by the Board of Governors. The committee is now working closely with Boyden to determine which of the final candidates will move forward to interviews with the full Board of Governors. Those interviews will take place later in February.
The committee feels confident that NAIT will have a strong leader in place by our target date of July 1, 2020. We look forward to announcing our new president and CEO to the NAIT community in the coming months.
