NAIT's Continuing Education auto body courses are primarily designed for hobbyists interested in vehicle restoration or enhancements and anyone considering the auto body trade as a career.
Our courses will help you develop your knowledge and give you practical exposure to elements of the trade including airbrushing, auto body repair and MIG welding. All courses have a large hands-on component supported by theory.
Hands-On Training
Our courses will provide you with the opportunity to apply newfound knowledge and techniques to hands-on, practical applications in our fully equipped labs. For example, our airbrushing courses will provide basic information and theory relating to airbrushing tools, paints and techniques before giving you the opportunity to practice in a controlled and supportive environment. Whether you're a beginner in the art of airbrushing or returning to advance your skills, our instructors will guide and advise you on how to improve.
Introduction to auto body repair and auto body MIG welding courses provides effective techniques for use in specific auto body applications. You will have plenty of shop time to practice manipulating auto body sheet metal, prepping it for repair and correctly finishing surfaces under expert instructor guidance.
In Auto Body MIG Welding, you will start with the basics of setting up a welder before we show you how to check for auto body flaws and help you develop safe welding and repair skills.
